The relief trend of weather continues in Bihar. There will be relief from the scorching heat. If not here, then in the surrounding districts, due to the rain and strong wind, the relief situation will generally remain in large part. According to the forecast released so far by the Indian Meteorological Department, along with Patna, there will be accumulation of clouds in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Khagaria, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Purnia, Banka, Jamui, Katihar, Saharsa, Vaishali etc. Due to this, the heat of the sun will not bother you. Less than five millimeters of rain is expected, but strong wind will prevail. Storm-like conditions may also occur at some places in these districts, although the wind speed will be less than 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert in Begusarai, Khagaria, Darbhanga and Madhubani.
Relief to school children also due to weather
Due to the scorching heat, in most of the districts of the state, the order of the District Magistrate had come to close the schools even before noon. Except in some districts like Shekhpura, the orders of the District Magistrate were being followed in most of the districts. Now the weather has given relief, due to which the idea of bringing back the school timings to normal is underway. If this order will be issued by the District Magistrate of Patna after studying the weather forecast, then accordingly orders can come in other districts also. At present, schools have kept their timings at some places till 10:30 and at other places till 11 o’clock.
Summer vacation now fixed after May 18th
There was advance information about summer vacation from May 18 onwards in private schools of almost all the districts across the state including Patna. Even in government schools, the possibility of summer vacation from May 15 was generally considered. Due to the scorching heat, it was believed till a week ago that all the schools would have to be closed from May 10, but now there is relief. The temperature has dropped by 10 degrees, due to which a slight cold is being felt at night. In such a situation, private schools have made preparations to give summer vacation after studies till May 18.
